New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Friday that the National Eligibility Test (NET) examinations of the University Grants Commission would be held from November 20 to December 5.
Exams for the December 2020 and June 2021 semesters would be held concurrently this year due to the postponement of the December 2020 examination due to the Covid-19 pandemic scenario.
The NTA will shortly send admission cards for applicants taking the UGC NET test.
According to the announcement, candidates who are taking the test will be able to get their admit cards from the UGC's official website.
The NTA has also established a hotline number 011-40759000 to assist candidates.
Sadhna Parashar, NTA Senior Director, said that a new timetable has been published for examinations that had been postponed many times because of the Covid-19 epidemic.
On November 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, and December 1, 3, 4, 5, the examination will be held.
The tests that were scheduled for December 2020 and June 2021 were postponed this year and last year owing to COVID-19, and will now be held simultaneously in November 2021. Candidates may get their admission cards at ugcnet.nta.nic.in after they are available. Candidates will not be allowed into the test hall unless they have their admit card, which contains all pertinent information such as the exam date, shift, and centre.
